The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) is a practical course offering an introduction to project management. It equips delegates with a broad understanding of the principles, tools and terminology of the project management profession. The course is designed to help new project managers or members of project teams:

No prior knowledge or experience is required for this qualification which offers the individual the required knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project.

The syllabus assesses the key elements of the project management lifecycle and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge, including planning and scheduling, communication, teamwork, resource management, project risk management and project reviews.

APM PFQ is aligned with the SCQF Level 6.

*BMC are proud to have maintained a 100% pass rate for this course in 2020 and 98% in 2021 to date (as at August 2021). Our pass rate over the past 3 years (2018-2020) has been 96%*

Qualifications

Upon successful completion of a 1 hour multiple choice exam paper, comprised of 60 questions (60% pass mark), candidates will be awarded the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) Certificate.
