27th September  – Finance for Non Finance Directors – Part 2 – FREE

As the world continues to change at a rapid pace, it is becoming essential to take the time to invest in your professional development whether you’re in the services, making the transition, or in civilian employment.

The OA and Bristol Management Centre is running a Professional Development Webinar series with the goal of providing you with the unique opportunity to hear from BMC lecturers, gain the knowledge, language and confidence to support your professional development, whilst giving you a taster of some of the course content on offer to officers. Don’t miss the opportunity to join us for this popular series.

Following on from the first in our finance for non finance director series – part two in this series will continue to introduce some of the concepts, language and topics to make those leaving the forces more confident in what financial knowledge and experience they need to support their career development. In this webinar Philip Avery will use real life examples and experiences to demystify the topic and explore some of the specific areas of financial knowledge, essential for those moving into civilian employment – in particular Philip will focus on company accounts and business ratios.

Philip Avery is a Lecturer and Consultant in Business Management and a non practising lawyer. He works as an associate for Bristol Management Centre lecturing in Business and Financial management development programmes. He has experience in working for many sectors both private & public including Hewlett Packard and the Welsh Assembly.
