Michael joined KPMG in March 2018 having left the Royal Air Force where he was a Military Officer and Operations Manager for over 11 years. During his career, he became dual qualified as a Project Manager in both PRINCE2 and AMP (PMQ) and gained an MSc in Public Policy from the United Nations University, Maastricht.


His defence experience covers airport, operations and supply chain management where he was a leading interface in numerous high-level national and international operations and key leader engagements. During his time in the RAF, Michael also designed and delivered a variety of successful and innovative operational transformation and cost-reduction strategies.


Latterly at KPMG, he has been involved in developing a risk analytics framework for an VfM assessment against a £2.1bn defence contract and is currently supporting the restructuring of the organisation and governance for a major defence agency.
